The Lady Ottoline, Bloomsbury, London.

Great little place. Went here for lunch and the food was really nice. Service was friendly and attentive. Nicest pub toilets I have ever seen.

The Princess of Shoreditch, Shoreditch, London.

Have been here loads of times and it never disappoints. Great food, nice staff and lovely atmosphere.

The Queensbury Pub and Dining Room, Willesden Green, London.

The Queensbury is one of my very favourite haunts. The food is always of the highest standard and with an ever changing menu they always manage to keep it fresh.

The Gun, Docklands, London.

The whole experience of lunch at the Gun in the River Room was ideal and the service from all the staff was 1st class

The Thatch, Thame, Oxfordshire.

Delicious roast pork Sunday lunch with amazing Yorkshire pudding! A friendly place with a great bar and attentive service.

The Botanist, Chelsea, London.

The Botanist has a very lively bar. We have been visiting for years when in town. Great food and fab cocktails. Try the Confit de Canard - it will not disappoint.

The Stagg Inn, Titley, Kington, Herefordshire.

Unbelievable to find this quality of cuisine in a pub in Herefordshire. Great wine list too! Would highly recommend!

The Punch Bowl Inn, Crosthwaite, Cumbria.

We will visit The Punch Bowl again. Truly delicious food, great beer and wonderful service. Recommended!

The Star Inn, Harome, North Yorkshire.

The Star’s reputation is well deserved and the Black Pudding with Foie Gras is worth travelling a long way to taste, believe me!

The Hand & Flowers, Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

It’s a busy pub and unsurprisingly! The variety and quality of the food at The Hand & Flowers makes it so much more than a pub that serves food.

Gastro pubs are a great way of enjoying delicious home cooked food with quality ales and selected wines.

Britishgastropubs.co.uk provides a venue finding service of the best gastro pubs in London and throughout the UK serving quality pub food and the best pub sunday roast lunches.

Overview

This is a pub that has taken it's influences from the grooviness of Noho, combined with shopping delights of Oxford Street, an evening in a club as cool as Crystal, with the atmosphere, fine food and general bonhomie you find in our pubs. Sounds extraordinary but here we have a cool, comfy, delicious pub that will turn heads. Formerly trading as the Ben Crouch, this pub, just like the Duke of Clarence when we bought that 6 years ago, is once again a pub. The girls in Design have done a fantastic scheme that has mixed our normal style and comfort, with a nod to some English icons. We called her the Adam and Eve after the alleyway at the back where we've got some outside tables for the lovers of a bit of fresh air (or a post pint fag.) We have room to cordon off areas for dinner for up to 20 or drinks for up to 60. The team has a range of menus and drinks offers to create a mood to suit your event. Do give us a call; we have the means and desire to be very flexible. We will of-course be showing our favourite sporting events live all of the time and are very happy to take bookings for those wanting to guarantee a ringside seat. The menu has some firm favourites salmon and haddock fishcakes, eggs Benedict, Wiltshire ham, hen's egg and hand cut chips. But also daily specials, sandwiches, salads and more to keep the menu interesting, whilst the drinkers have a range of draught and bottled beers covering the great brewing countries of the world, a wine list to cover every taste, as well as a few simple sexy cocktails to set them up for a night out in the West End. All mixed together with some lively tunes. The British pub is alive and kicking!
