The Appleford Kitchen and Bar re-opened on 20th August 2011 by new owner Michelle Marriott. Once a Greene King pub called The Carpenters Arms, this pub is now a freehouse offering a range of cask ales and beers.
The Appleford boasts a modern 32 seat restaurant, lounge bar with an open fire and extensive garden and patio with fantastic views of the Whittenham Clumps.
This foody pub has two menus to choose from. The lounge menu offers classics such as fish & chips and homemade pies as well as pork pie's, pork scratchings and huge scotch eggs all made in their own kitchen.
The restaurant has an a la carte menu with modern british dishes changing on a monthly basis. All produce is seasonal and locally sourced where possible.
