The Hand & Flowers, just outside the centre of Marlow, was conceived by owners Tom and Beth Kerridge as somewhere people could drop by for a bite to eat or equally celebrate a special occasion. Tom’s regularly changing menu combines unpretentious modern British flavours as well as rustic French dishes, and uses the best available seasonal ingredients. Lighter options are served at lunchtimes, and on Sundays, there’s always a full roast with all the trimmings.

The dining room is very traditional, with low wooden beams, and maintains a pub atmosphere with leather banquettes and wooden tables. In summer, there’s a large al-fresco terrace for eating and drinking.

Tom and Beth have been thrilled by the awards and nominations received since they opened – including winning the ‘fish and chips’ category of Restaurant magazine’s Best Dish competition, as well as achieving three AA rosettes and a Michelin star.

In the last year, four luxurious B&B rooms have been added, located in two picturesque neighbouring cottages. Offering very stylish accommodation, with breakfast in the room or the pub, prices are from £140 per room per night.
