Devon is located in the south-west of England, bordered by Cornwall to the west and Dorset and Somerset to the east.

The county's larger towns include Torquay, Exeter and Plymouth with many pretty seaside towns on its coastlines such as Ilfracombe and Lynmouth on its north coast and Sidmouth, Exmouth and Dawlish on its southern shoreline as well as the major southern coastal tourist resorts of Torquay and Paignton.

Devon is an area of beautiful rolling landscape which makes it a popular tourist destination and the county contains both the Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks.

A plethora of great foodie pubs serving equally good traditional ales are to be found in Devon including The Dartmoor Inn at Okehampton and The Mason's Arms at Knowstone.
